What is credit freeze?

A users account can be credit frozen by the bank or by Niyo compliance team. In case of credit freese user may not be able to add money into his account and others will not be able to send money to him. This can happen due to unusually high upi, atm trxns and fund transfers. or due to frauds and sanctions.

If it is frozen by Niyo team you can find it on the below list:

Passport
Visa (if user has FX trxns)
Occupation
Income source

If the name is not available on the list, it may be frozen by the bank. Please ask for VOC and screenshot of the error and raise a ticket to the bank.
