SBM account closure - documents required

 For raising an Account Closure SR (in SuiteCRM) for a Niyo SBM Savings Bank account for any Cx, mandatory proof required is *only the Cx's consent from the registered email address.

 

Subject to - Account has NIL balance

                   No - Lien/ Cyber Crime/ or any other Bank side restriction

                   The account is Not pending for ReKYC

                    

  

If the account has a balance, you need to suggest the customer transfer the funds to their personal account or to an alternate bank account or provide the canceled cheque.  


Note : If the account is in Dormant state (If there is no user- induced transactions in the account for more than 02 years), suggest they do ReKYC or give a self attested voter ID or driving licence along with the consent to rasie a closure request.
