To fix the issue where an SBM SCC credit limit doesn't update after a customer completes an FD top-up, follow this simple rule: the outstanding balance must be ₹0 before the limit can be synced.
The 3-Step Process:
- Check Balance: See if the user owes any money on their card.
- Clear Balance: If they owe money, they must pay it all off first.
- Manual Sync (L2): Once the OS balance is ₹0, raise a Jira Ticket to have the tech team update the limit manually.
- If they have an outstanding balance : "Your limit can only sync when your balance is zero. Please pay your current dues, then let me know so I can fix your limit."
- If balance is zero: "Thanks! I’m now asking our team to manually update your limit. It will be updated shortly." ( create a ticket and move it to L2)
Important Note: Don't say it's a bug. Just tell the user it is a "current technical requirement" to have a zero outstanding balance to increase the Credit limit.
