Moto Payments (Response)

Created by Dada Khalandar khalandar S, Modified on Fri, 28 Mar at 4:12 PM by Dada Khalandar khalandar S

MOTO payments stand for mail order/telephone order (MOTO) transactions, which are a type of card not present payment. It is when a user provides their card details to a merchant or service provider to pay on behalf of the user.

These type of payments are not permitted on Niyo cards and will get declined.

RESPONSE:

We regret to inform you that your recent transaction was declined due to the nature of the payment, categorized as 'Moto payments,' where the card is not physically present during the transaction. To maintain account security, the bank has disabled Moto transactions, as they are initiated by merchants or business owners over mail or telephone, not by the cardholders. This measure is taken to prevent potential misuse.
