SBM DC - NEW Card Order Flow

KEY POINTS TO BE NOTED

  • Users can now order the physical debit card without loading INR 5,000 soon after the account is created.
  • SCC is no longer mandatory to order the physical debit card. 
  • Ordering SCC will now remain an option available in the app for users who wish to opt for it. 
  • In this case, for users who have successfully created the account and have not ordered the physical debit card, the system will automatically trigger the card request after 24 hours of the account creation and the card will get delivered to the communication address. 
  • The card delivery process TAT will remain the same (3 working days in metro cities and 5 to 7 working days in non-metro cities)
  • The above-mentioned features apply to NTB (new-to-bank) users.

The users will now have the option to view the actions that have to be completed as a checklist as mentioned in the below image. 



   

  •  The application will show the user the percentage of the card setup that has been completed. 
  • There will be a green tick mark indicating the actions that are completed. 

Users will now have to make a first debit card transaction either offline or online to ensure that the card works hassle-free. 



    Post incurring a successful transaction, the user has to now enable the international transactions channel from the card settings. 

 

 Users

 will now have to link UPI to their account. 



 



 

The card setup page indicates that 100% action has been completed. There will be a green tick mark indicating that pending actions have been completed.
