Biometric KYC for SBM has gone live, effective 12 February 2025. This service is currently available only in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
Below are the time slots that are available for all 7 days
Morning, 10 am to 2 pm
Evening, 2 pm to 5 pm
Niyo customers who are facing difficulties completing the VKYC / RE-KYC or wish to opt for biometrics (residing in Delhi, Mumbai, & Bangalore) can avail of this option. Please note this feature is available for both new onboarding and existing users
Process to be Followed by L1.
L1, please confirm the address (if they are in Bangalore, Delhi, or Mumbai only), create a ticket, and assign it to the onboarding team - SBM Re-KYC/Onb
What is biometric KYC?
Biometric KYC with a doorstep service refers to the process of verifying a customer's identity using biometric data (like fingerprints, facial recognition, or iris scans) at their location, typically at their home or office ( as per the customer's preferred address)
Please note: Users should have access to their Aadhaar link number to receive the OTP at the time of biometric. No physical document is required.
