OPTION 1 - VKYC
Customers can update their communication address via VKYC flow.
How is it done?
STEP 1 - Schedule VYKC (vkyc link)- by filing the account details
STEP 2: Enter your Aadhaar number & verify it with the OTP
STEP 3 - The system will pop up a confirmation for the customer shown below.
(Customer can select YES to proceed with the communication address change request & complete the VKYC. Once the VKYC has been approved customer will receive the confirmation email from the bank)
Please note - If the customer wants to update the address on the Niyo app, they need to share the bank confirmation email with us)

RESPONSE: (can be shared with the customer)
Thanks for reaching out! To change the communication address, we request that you write an email to global@goniyo.com with the subject “Change of communication address for my Niyo SBM savings account” from your registered email ID. It takes about 7 to 10 working days for the communication address to be updated.
Please make sure the below details are mentioned in the email along with the required documents: a. Mention the request type as the change of address b. Customer Account Number c. Old address & new address to be mentioned d. Name of the document copy provided The documents required are: 1. Driving license ( with the updated address)
- Original PAN (self-attested) Once we receive this, we will raise a request to change the communication address immediately and keep you posted on every update over email.
NOTE - If the customer cannot share consent from their registered email & unable to complete the VKC, then the customer has to reach out to the bank.
